4th October 2009 Highpower National 2009

Weather Conditions:
Morning was perfect will very little wind and bright skies. Afternoon brought a 8mph wind coming from the left to right, sometimes changing direction and being head on.
Match Report:

Hi all,

I was not in charge so Dave will have to write the formal match account :) Great week end, good atmosphere in the Canadian, I really enjoyed see you all again.

Good results in the Match class with Bill Ellis winning on X count from Layne Chisholm, but both very good scores with 771 out of 800.

Elsewhere the wind and lack of practice caused some horrors. Steve Sheldon ending up top of the pack with 738, so a big well done to him..... Bob Wightman the 'old one' second, noisy as usual, but a good effort considering he was after a 'concession' due to his bad back to start from sitting, next time we will allow him to start from that position and disqualify him! :)

Ian Dixon was third, but lets move quickly on! Well done sporty.

best regards

Rowan
